I'm using Virtual DJ V4.3. After about three hours of constant mixing the virtual dj program suddenly output a lot of noise, like pure white noise without any audiosignal included. My inputlevel meters of my mixer, a Pioneer DJM600 turned all red and the audience all looked at me. First I thought the mixer were out but after restarting virtual dj everything went back to normal. What could have happened? Someone else experience similair problems? I've used this program many times before without such problems. Help!

From memory this has been fixed in later versions.

Happened to me last weekend running 5.5, that is why I asked.
3 hr mark exactly.
Heard it through my phones sitting on the back up laptop over the main channel sound, it was that loud, then the main channel went out.

Hi Rick,
I'm using two soundcards, M-Audio Audiophile 2496. I got exactly the same problem as you describe, while monitoring the cue I've got nothing but NOISE, very embarrasing....I hate those technical faults interrupting the mixing.. argghhh.
Feel free to contact me by mail if u like: e-mail address removed

I checked the history log file and noticed that I started VDJ six hours before the noisecrash occoured. Today I let VDJ be open but without any work done into it. The same thing happens, after six hours the noisecrash occours. Somebody know why or if this is fixed in 5.0? Thanks

I guess you think you are slick, or special the way you inserted your email address. For what ever reason, they don't allow email addresses by no license users. I believe that applies to you.

If you are not running our demo version, you are running an illegal version as you are not a registered user.
We are not here to support cracked versions or incriminate people, but we don't have time to waste either.
So please load up the fully functional demo and see how the results are then.
You don't work those gigs for free, and neither should our developer.
There is lots of help available here form support people and some very knowledgeable users, but understand that we all want to see people come on board before too much help is offered.
Everybody here has paid for their software including support personnel.
I know you want to know things work properly before you buy, but please use the demo for this.
That is what it is intended for.
Thank you
Rick

Wanna bet? I don't know if he is a crack user or not, but if he is, he'll be back. It's crack, and they can't help themselves, and should be treated with tough love, really tough. And no, I am not a former crack user, and don't buy Rolex's off the corner either. I spend my money, so I can have someone to yell at, if it don't work.
