I have numark virtual vinyl 5.0 rev 5 and its works good but i cant seem to trust it like i can call my rane serato scratch live. I always try to use virtual vinyl first and if i have problems, ill use the Serato. I always end up doing that. yesterday i was dj ying a surprise party and the pitch control on the virtaul vinyl was off. I was trying to blend music and had to raise the pitch on the CDJ 1000mk3 to the max for it to show up normal on the virtual vinyl. Thats way off......... I went into setup to try to see whats the deal but everything was ok on config.
I eneded up using the serato again. To me its very stable. I just hook it up and Bam........ Working 100 percent all the time. I like virtual vinyl because it can read all types of music files and i can play videos. Serato can only read MP3s Wave files and i tunes. I dont dj videos so this doesnt matter to me.
I am very close to selling my virtual vinyl because i dont feel confident about it working 100 percent like my serato. I hope they fix this. The pitch control has a mind of its own. To me something stable is worth more than something that can do alittle extra.
