I get an error message when starting VDJ
WARNING! The skin you are trying to use has a higher resolution than your screen
Then VDJ, or windows, proceeds to resize itself several times before opening VDJ at full screen. If I switch to another program it has to resize again, but when using VDJ it is always full screen.
This started after un-doing skyfxl's shell modifications in the registry. I have since un-installed 4.3 and upgraded to 5.0r6 and the problem did not go away. Any ideas on what I missed?

Just out of curiosity - Is your screen resolution actually smaller than the skin size?
I get this behaviour when my screen resolution is smaller than the skin

No the screen is a higher resolution, and I am using the default skin. Thats how it acts though. Its like it resizes my screen resolution to make VDJ full screen instead of stretching the skin.

your skin is in stretch mode. if you have a higher resolution on your screen than the skin, let it stretch once. then click the fullscreen or 'maximize' icon at the top right of vdj interface next to the 'X' for closing it. it the skin is a decent one, it will resize and be smaller within your full resolution without stretching. incidentally, i love the DAC skin and have been using it for a year. an older version of it had that annoying problem but the latest update started to behave properly.

I had this issue happen to me some time ago also; tried this procedure almost exactly, and the "default" skin resized to a smaller size as Paz75 described...Never happened again. Since then, however, I have been using Format's MixLab 2.0 skin

Weird. That was a permanent fix after I closed VDJ while at normal size. Open it back up and everything is fine. Strange it would still be that way after a fresh upgrade to 5.0. Thanks.

I am trying to get mine to full screen on my 15.4 inch display laptop, how do I do it? When I hit maximize it looks too streched, what do I have to do?

nothing you can do about the stretched look, except for find a skin which better matches your screen resolution. all the skins for download show the screen size, and many skin authors had the kindness to create different sizes of the same one as well.
you can do two things, either adjust your screen resolution to the skin size, or get a skin which matches your screen resolution.
