Sujet: Flawless first night with new Dell......

Well, I decided to go with a new Dell because my old one was getting out dated. I made sure that I got it with Windows XP because my old one had that and worked perfect. It came in the mail, I set everything up with the database, downloaded my new skin for the bigger screen, updated windows and anti-virus and then disabled the internet. I used it last night for 5 hours flawlessly. As long as this continues I will be happy. Here are the laptop stats

Dual 2.2ghz 4meg cache
2 gig ram
256 video
250 gig hard drive
Windows XP

Which video card, and which soundcard did you use?
 
I am useing A dedicated video card from dell, For right now I am using a Hercules, but only untill I get my new DJ system next month, then I am going to use time code cds. I have a torq connectiv for that. Then I will also be able to see how my videos work.
 
ATI or nVidia, and which model?
 
256MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT
 
Make that 2 nights..
 
How's video mixing working for you on that computer?
Heard that a lot of people have some problems with that card.
