Does the Numark total control wok with VDJ 4.3 on Vista??? Should it work???
A friend of mine was throwing a party for new years and I used my Numark total control with Numark'c Cue Le software and DJIO, everything worked perfectly. My friends brother had VDJ 4.3 on his computer. We connected the total control, but the unit did not respond to the software. We enabled the unit in the remote control tab and it still did not work. He was running vista.
Is there a fix for this???

The Numark total control is better supported in Official V5x le or full cue/vdj
It does not require drivers on windows or mac to run.
If he is a register pro user he can download the latest updates free of charge

I have no idea if he is a registered member...
Is there anything that gives the mapping of the total control... something that gives the button or knob number with the propper action. I was told that you could map it yourself, but that it is extremely difficult assigning the propper action to every button and every knob.

A mapping tool for PRO Cue / VDJ for the total control is on its way , which will allow changes on the fly.
Otherwise unfortunately you will need to map each item manually.
