I can confirm there does seem to be a slight drift between the decks as reported, but no idea as to why yet!

OK cause found, I'll have this fixed this weekend for sure :)
Another bug found - it's the cause of pauljohns problem - something is causing one of the gui config settings to be changed...

Both things are now fixed, but I have to run to work now, and it needs compiling on the Mac.
I'll see if I can get time after work tonight, but no promises...

It did... it should flash when all the other lights flash?
Posté Fri 12 Sep 08 @ 10:52 am

Posté Fri 12 Sep 08 @ 5:07 pm
Very odd. Whats your beat sensitivity set to?
Posté Fri 12 Sep 08 @ 5:31 pm
It will work for a min then stop. I have it set half way
Posté Fri 12 Sep 08 @ 10:33 pm

Which bit are you referring to? The XY pad control?
Posté Mon 15 Sep 08 @ 5:51 am
hi Scott , yes exactly the touch pad/mouse assigned to a eg. delay with bpm controllable.is that already possible or will it be as in the video?
thanks P.
thanks P.

Assuming the XY touchpad has been fixed (it didn't work in earlier VDJ versions) then I can assign the touchpad to control two effect sliders - one left-right, and one up-down - each controlling a slider/pot in the currently selected effect...

So , taking one step at a time how can we find out if the touch pad has been fixed ?
Posté Mon 15 Sep 08 @ 4:48 pm
I'll know when I go have a play :)
Posté Mon 15 Sep 08 @ 6:21 pm
Implemented :)

OK, what I have done:
Touchpad X controls the current effect slider 1 on currently selected deck
Touchpad Y controls the current effect slider 2 on currently selected deck
Touchpad button 1 controls current effect button 1 on currently selected deck
Touchpad button 2 controls current effect button 2 on currently selected deck
Shift + Touchpad button 1 selects deck 1, and activates the currently selected effect
Shift + Touchpad button 2 selects deck 2, and activates the currently selected effect
How does that sound?
I've fixed the drifting issue, and a problem with the beat detection slider too...
Once I get the OK on the above, I'll consider releasing a new version, unless anyone has any other requests they would like to put in... :)

Scott

Oh, and at someones request I've just added 2-stage warning flashing of the progress meter when nearing the end of a track too :)

Well I've done a bit of testing, and on this version I cannot get xmas tree mode to go crazy, and the sync light definately flashes whether xmas tree mode is on or not!
