I was adding an update of this month's newest releases to my own CPS at the club and somehow VDJ read the disc I was transferring from and now I have a second listing in my DB of the "D" drive (CD/DVD Rom) version too. (Of course they don't exist once the disc is removed from the drive.)
I may have added it to the database when it was loaded, while I was adding the videos that were moved to their permanent drive in the CPS.
When I go to the VDJ setup window and then to the browser settings to clean/fix my DB I can't access the empty "D" drive to purge the error files.
Is it as simple as loading the discs back into the "D" drive to activate it so it appears in the selection? And then what to do to clear it up?
Would I simply search the drive in the first window and delete it from the DB?
I made the transfer using two DVDs in order to move the 7 gigs of VOBs. Will I also need to place that second disc back in the drive to be able to delete the entire group of erred files.
In some of the past versions I could have done this very simply but I don't know how to get it done in V5.6
Any suggestions or even the right answer would be appreciated.
I've worked hard on keeping a (almost) perfect DB and this error has gotten to be taken care of somehow.
Thanks for the assist!

CD/DVD Rom info is stored in the MASTER database file, which is the C: drive. Run you Clean and Check on the c: database.

This is good to know.
I don't use my C drive for any music / video storage and have not been checking or cleaning it thinking it had nothing to do with my music / video files.
Thank you.
