Sujet: You looking for music videos - Page: 1

Cette partie de ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes

this post is for educational purposes only, you may or may not have come across this site before

its similar to youtube but the difference being its in divx and hd format, still some of the stuff is quite poor quality, there are music videos, re runs of tv programmes, films, cartoons, documentaries etc just about any subject under the sun

did i mention music videos before, if i did'nt there is a section on music videos from early fifties to the present day in all genres and here is where you can find them http://www.stage6.com/?lang=en&cid=stage6mfolder_en

you will have to decide on your own quality standards if you want to watch them again and again and again....lol

enjoy

Paul,

You're good at finding these little things, e.g. "the Link"

You must spend hours in front of that screen, lol

BTW, should be up and running again on "the link" tomorrow. Missing the chat's.

I've been a DIVX user for years, and the stage6 site is wonderful. great vid quality and open source if you download the Dr. Divx application. Great way to reformat and edit your vids.

Me thinks Stage6 Is Great too!!
Especially since you can save them!
(oh yea, for educational purposes only)

I am assuming downloading the copywrite videos is illegal, but the site is assume....too bad none of the paying sites are like this...and some of the games video and animations make great ambient background stuff..........again if the pay download sites would get their act together and asses in gear we wouldn't even need to be looking a this site!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

glad your educational classes are going well guys, you are never to old or young to learn something lol... life is like a box of chocolates...

Been using this site for a while, found it to be a great resource for rare and hard to find educational videos.

I was looking through one or two - are there any embeded logo's on a lot of these vids?

This website is much like http://www.guba.com/ let's just say for educational purposes like US you subscribe to both PROMONLY videos as well as SCREENPLAY but you find something that is not available for purchase. It is VERY possible to take one of these videos, replace the substandard audio with the original.wav file from your purchased promonly CD and even adjust the screen to remove the logo, or cover it with another logo of your choice. (I've heard SONY VEGAS is a great educational tool)

Let's say you were testing one of these "educational videos" in a public venue and someone asked about it and you were able to produce your many paid legal subscriptions costing more than a grand a year chances are you would be allowed to go in peace with a minor warning.

But if you plan on going video and operating from nothing but the cheap seats my advice is to stick with audio, you can buy a $50 dollar capture card and get all the VH1 , MTV, BET, CMT, GAC or Gilligan's Island videos you want in much higher resolution than anything on these websites. But assuming your TIME is valuable and you really don't want the FBI as part of your show I'd not choose this method as your primary choice of video

Disclaimer: I'm not saying I know how to do any of these things described in the paragraph (1) and the fact I've had the same chinsey ass three stars for 4 years should be proof I don't know anything or I don't suck up to the correct VDJ moderator whoever HE may be.

@djrenee

Um, I just looked at your blog, and if that is a picture of you, you do not have to "suck up to anyone". It's a pleasure to see a female DJ, that has all her clothes on. Much respect. Oh, and the disclaimer does not work. I'll be in Southwest Florida tomorrow.

Don't worry about the stars. As you can see, they give them out to anyone. Norway has a lot, and he don't know jack.

@Djrenee, maybe u can ask for ur name to be in pink too;)

@OP, Sorry for the threadjackin.

There's another good place for videos (legally) to purchase. www.tmjones.com, which used to be www.tmcentury.com . I've been subscribing to their Prime Cuts series for years and have seen their videos. I am planning to start getting their "Hits" video series soon to start my video collection. They are both U.S. and international. Just go their site and look up their contact information.

i agree with rick

like all the gear you got on show renee very impressive
