WTF?
Cool idea for a starter DJ, or someone that wants an all in one package, but not for me.
WOW, I JUST READ INTO IT A LITTLE FURTHER...
IS NUMARK OUT OF THE VIRTUALDJ PHASE???????
It says that Numark and SERATO are partnering up to form hardware and software partnerships, and so on. Does this mean the end of "Numark CUe" and back to normal with just plain old "Virtual Dj"?? Schweeet!!

For those of us who are using something like a Numark Total Control, it would be a hell of an upgrade. I hope that you caught that it is a midi controller.
It also supports Cue/VDJ. I think they are just trying to make sure people know it will work with Serato as well.

It looks perfect for me. I'd be thrilled to put a laptop stand to hang my laptop above that, and bring that to gigs. Concerned it will be out of my price range, they pay us in peanuts here, hence why I'm using a NTC....LOL...

It sure does!!
I wonder what the MSRP is gonna be :O

Given that while it looks good, a person would have to here some reviews.... but from appearances, it makes my NTC want to run away and hide someplace.... I think it's a little scared...LOL.

Looks to be potentially exactly what i would want.
Quality looks decent (not that you can really tell from a PIC)
Looks very promising!
But with motorised platters, it won't be cheap!
Await for more info.....

I use a zone 3d but i would have one of those over it any day as long as it's rackmount if it's not rackmount i wouldn't even bother as stuff that is not flightcased just feels bedroomie..
I think in 08 were gonna see stuff that people are gonna be happy with and are going to keep for a while and get there moneys worth out of, it will be nice to get away from all the wires that computer DJing brought with it. The CD systems at the time had just got compact and minimal wires but then were wiped out.

Oh now, this is definitely not a rack mountable unit, it is a LOT bigger than that. The platters are 7" diameter platters. It's probably something in the size range of a pair of CDJ800's with a skinny mixer between. It will need a turntablist style coffin. Not for everyone, but certainly for those that want to do a little turntable like action, with a good amount of surface area. I like it. I like it a lot, atleast at first glance. I hope the sound quality and functionality are good quality.... and of course I hope it is something I can afford somehow...LOL.

NICE! Looks good anyway. If it performs as advertised then it will cost a buck or two.

MY guess is about $2000+ for a MSRP. It has 2 decks motorized and a mixer. My question is what happens in case of a hardware failure, does this have a backup solution? or are you going to have to bring a extra deck also.

You might be able to squeeze it into a coffin...As far as failures, MK2 to the rescue :D hehehe! Keep it in your gig box (nice and portable).

It appears it is not going to be working with Serato SSL, but a new program called Serato Itch, along with Cue, VDJ, and others.

Its a high quality midi controler , it will work with any software just that particular poster was aimed at sll users as it comes with a new sterato product included.

They've already pulled this picture off scratchworx, because it was misleading, as it will NOT work with Serato SSL, it will work with Serato Itch instead as mentioned.
However, this picture does produce a good idea of how big it is. It's sexy, hope it's not too expensive.

I meant if you pc blows up mid gig or something drastic, your going to need something else. I suppose you can stand behind that console and looking busy as you play a pre-mix off an ipod :)
That does look very nice. I just get nervous when its an all in one piece of hardware, too much to rely on.

skyfxl,
Do you know how much they are going to ask for it USD? Man, I hope not in the range of $2000, that would just make me cry. I want one, but they pay peanuts here for DJ's, and I'm near the top of the foodchain.
