I'm gonna buy a pair of either, and I'd like to know which you think. Also, should I buy the djm 600 or 800? Give me your opinions...they would be most appreciated.

It's depending of what you want to do and what is your experience.
If you want to do CD mix, CDTC and you are CDJ 800 or 1000 experienced; choose the 800.
If you want to Midi pilot VDJ and have few experience with 800 or 1000 choose the 400.
If you want to do both, choose the 400 but be aware that if you are 800 or 1000 experienced, you'll need some time to adapt to 400 jog.
I have some feed back from friends on the 400 and I've tested it one time, looks to be a good product as usual with Pioneer. I have some good feedback but if the jog mechanism is the same as 800, the size and sensibility are different.
Some midi mapping working with VDj even the jog. Only loops look to still cause problem.
