Dose anyone use the Pioneer VSW-1 Video switcher?
I just got one and when I switch from "A" to "B" or "B" to "A" I get a flicker and not a smooth cut.
I was told that the Sync was not correct.
I was wondering if anyone has this same problem or dose anyone know how to fix it.
I know that my DVJ 1000 has a Sync cable to attach to the VSW-1,
Now I need to know how to Sync the video out from a laptop or desktop.

Thats really strange, I used to use the same setup with my 909 triggering the A to B switch with no issue. The only thing I can think is to change the frequency on the graphics out on your lappy from 75hz to 60hz or that wierd 59.9 setting dropframe setting.
The vsw-1 works by buffering (delaying) sync B and waits for first line of A to activate B and reduces flicker that way. As far as I was aware it also converts video frequencies on both video channels aswell to make the transition smooth. I would have a fiddle with graphics card output setting and if you have no joy then take it up with pioneer
