Sujet: New to VDJ. Will this work?

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Does the timecoded vinyl feature of VDJ5 work on any turntable or does it have to be USB or VDJ specific table? I own a Audio-Technica AT-PL120 along with a Numark DM1050 Mixer... If I were to purchase the software and a Timecoded Vinyl, would it work?

Thanks

The Timecode vinyl should work on any turntable,

but for the best results, Direct Drive "Decks" are the best.

And a minimum 4 in 4 out soundcards such as maya44usb, u46dj or herc mk2 etc... N also using VDJ/Numark vinyl TCV.

Yes it works, as spinnaJ and Jimmy B says, time codes vinyls works on any standard turntable, but very important is the sound card you buy, it must have 2 stereo inputs and 2 stereo outputs, to input your 2 turntables signal to the pc and output the 2 signals to your mixer. Im using U46DJ USB sound card and works fine, or you can use Maya 44 (but i think it is discontinued).

Good Luck.

Greats, that's for the help. Right now I'm using a SB Audigy 2 ZS Platinum. I know it has some RCA jacks on the front panel, but I will have to look closer to see if it will work. If not, I don't mind getting another sound card. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't any other hardware required. I'm an old bedroom Dj and this really looks like amazing technology. Really looking forward to giving it a try!

First of all, thanks again for the help so far... Very much appreciated. But I had another question about my sound card (audigy 2 zs platinum) before I go out and buy something else. I've been searching the board and some posts mentioned that the audigy 2 zs platinum will work good with VDJ/TCV. Is this correct?

I've been looking at all the inputs/outpusts included with the audigy 2 zs platinum and I'm not sure...

Is anyone using this card with VDJ and TCV? How exactly would the setup work?

Thanks again!
