You pay less for home , so you get less (there are a couple of free fx) 20$ as aposed to 299$ the company would go bankrupt if they gave away free pro to home users as they wouldn't make any money
Much like windows you wouldnt complain to ms that because you bought home you cant use ultimate features.

To be a bit more precise the plugins only work with professional edition which is a newever version of VDJ this is why they are for pro users.
