Sujet: Top level search in forum

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Just a wish of mine for a while, that the forum could have a top level search from the forum index. I think the number of repeated posts could be because users cannot really find stuff easily. Partially because the search is not visible until going into a particular forum. For new users especially, its very ambiguous where to expect to find things. Secondly, when you do search, it should also be able to search the blogs where loads of good information has been stored.

If you want to get really fancy, some forum search features also can sort by posts which have votes. So we can use the voting system to peg good threads without making them sticky... That would be great!

I definately agree... I spend a whole lot of time searching something that I saw two weaks ago even a weak before.
