I have a MK2 Mixer and I just purchased some tables. Do I have to use a specific type/brand of time coded vinyl? I.e. I know VDJ has there own brand. There is also the Numark one and also Rane Colored Vinyl and the M-Audio. Does anyone know if theres a big difference?

Eventually, you can use all with VDJ, when the plugin and open engine is ready (beta testing still)
As of now, both VDJ and Numark ones work great (are pretty much identical)

Alright sweet thanks alot! I'm going to go pick up my tables today and I wanted to stop by the local store and I know they probably wont carry the VDJ vinyl, but thanks again!

Be advised you do need the Pro version of VDJ for proper Timecode support :)

Ok let me rephrase that: You need the Pro version for the timecode to work longer than 5 minutes :)
