No prayers i'm afraid, however since the last update of Vista i have been fortunate not to have had any issues with VDJ, now i need to pray as the last time i said this all went tits up big time. You have a different set up to mine so can't advise you on this.

I have tested a few of the new versions but I always go back to 3.4, of course I'm a home user so I miss out on some of the goodies but 3.4 and the mk2 have been steady as a stone.

Where is the crash report posted?
Sorry if we overlooked it, will ask Cel or Dev Team to take a look.
A crash is often easy to narrow down, to a bad made skin, plugin or mp3 corrupt file.
Although every release we narrow down and hunt such things, to make it more and more impossible to crash.
(but as you know, even the PC itself can crash, so its not an easy task)

Is this some kind of trick question?
Anxiety is part of the job. Are you new to this game? You have never had a record skip because of a scratch, that just appeared out of nowhere? You have never pulled the wrong tonearm off the record, and wondered what happened? You've never played on the second floor of an old building, with 1,000 people jumping up and down at the same time, and the tonearm jumps to the beat? You have never blown an amp, speaker, broken a needle or cartridge? Never had a CD player or mixer malfunction? Ever have a power failure, blown breaker, only one outlet that works in the whole place? Never had a drunk fuck with you all night, have a fight break out, bumping your tables, or knocking them over? In other words, all you gigs have run smoothly, and you have never had any equipment problems? Then you have just started, or have been extremely lucky. This is a high stress occupation, even with the best equipment. Just having the responsibility to rock the party, is stressful. But most of us love it, and would not have it any other way. I work in a club everyday, and don't worry about my machine or the software, any more than I worry about the other equipment.
So, find out what the problem is, fix it, and keep it moving. Stress is part of the game, embrace it, make love to it. (Yeah I know, That was a little much).
So, I guess you have never been shot at in a club, or at a wedding reception? Wimp.

Ya know Rick, getting shot at would cause stress....... I love the challenge, and never say a prayer before a job...I hope the Big Guy upstairs has bigger things to occupy him than my little wedding reception. And if not then we are all going to hell on a hand car.
BTW, VDJ/CUE has never let me down on a job. My hardware on the other hand.........

I agree with the stress of the job... I never realized it until it was just mentioned. We go through motions like walking. As long as I've been a VDJ member. My system has crashed during a show twice. The second just happend a couple of weeks ago. I was up and running in about 4-6 seconds. - minimal considering if you kick the power cord or hit the wrong button by mistake and not have a song completely cued up yet.

I worry about my equip., but never worried about it as much as I have with my software. Mine locked up a few times in the last couple of weeks. This is why I have been burning more CDs just in case.

I worry about my eqp more than any software. To me, a software is more reliable and if a software goes screwy it usually has something to do with me doing something to it or my machice couldn't handle the process. Now if a EQP goes screwy now have a problem and it takes more time to trouble shoot and / or move to back up.
I think every DJ has had a power go out on the system by mistake and remember how log it took for it to cycle back up and get another song in place. It took forever, well, not really it just felt that way because of the stress level. It really only took about 15-20 seconds but it seemed like forever when everyone is watching you.

I pray they dont run out of Budweiser. I dont sweat it, if it goes out it goes out. I also pray I dont stop the wrong player, do that at least once a gig.

I'll forgive you Your lack of flavour American Beer :P
Here is the Molson Prayer (and a few others)
Our Lager
Which art in barrels,
Hallowed be thy drink.
Thy will be drunk,
I will be drunk,
At home as in the tavern.
Give us this day our foamy head,
And forgive us our spillages,
As we forgive those who spill against us.
And lead us not into incarceration,
But deliver us from hangovers.
For thine is the Beer, The Bitter, and the Lager,
Barmen

Well, all I am saying is that, I usually always have a backup system in my car, along with headphones ect. and I know that the places I work all have fairly new equip. and I am better at that then diagnosing a problem with my program or computer. I know computers well, but know the equip. better. That is why I use the computer as little as I need to anymore. I give alot of credit and props to those of you who are depending fully on a computer, controller and hard drive. A buddy of mine does it, but I never will. To each his own they say.

I cant count the number of times I have stopped the wrong player, I wont go in a place anymore if they dont have Miller Lite, Captain, or Blackhaus........LOL

I blew a breaker 2 Saturdays ago, at a high profile reception. This was a full light and visual package, and I knew it was gonna be a problem, because all the outlets were on the same level. The next outlet was out of the room, with foot traffic. When I pulled the plug for the lights and visuals, it was very warm. This is a 12 gauge extension, went to the outlet outside the room, got a mat to put over it, and went on. Very stressful for me, but the guest and my clients did not freak out one bit. I guess it was on my face, because the mother of the bride came to me and said to relax, and not to worry. It was strange because my console, computers, and hard drives stayed on. I forgot about the UPS they were connected to. Hey, it was not the first time, and will not be the last.

"God, don't let me suck tonight. Amen."
Dear Lord; Why did You let these people breed?"
somewhere along those lines usually.
