Norway, there is no mention on the Atomixmp3 site that it was discontinued. They are still selling it for a wopping $89.95... Shouldn't there be a message or notation that the software has been discontinued? If it is discontinued, that means no more updates for it.

Hi speed.. indeed the atomixmp3 is "discontinued" after v2.3 in 2003, there no more updates to that. Atomixmp3 is the prequel to VDJ timeline..:)

I think it is still sold but to those who will use it at home or just a media player.

I feel I have to reply in this thread because I feel the automix site should be pulled. I fell into the trap of buying it then stumbling into these forums whilst looking for help only to find out that the software (which is expensive) would not work with a controller.

I did also offer to trade my license (which I'd had for a couple of days) in for the Pro version but all I was offered was the usual discount which I would get by owning the MK2. Automixmp3 appears much higher in a Google search for "mix mp3s" so people end up with a dated product. The site could be used as a window to VDJ.

A simple large banner at the top of the site saying

PLEASE DON'T BUY THIS SOFTWARE AS OUR NEW VDJ IS AVAILABLE HERE!

and then provide a link. Maybe then you won't piss people off at the 1st opportunity

Agree, it should be more clear that Atomixmp3 is no longer developed.

Its offered as a media player solution for low-end PC's.

But its of course 5 years behind VDJ on development, and not even close to having modern controller support, features etc

Media Player solution that costs that much. I don't think so. We all have WMP, I Tunes eyc why would anyone "buy" a media player.

This is what it says on the site:

"Hey, Mr DJ ! Looking for a powerful and easy-to-use MP3 DJ mix software ? You found it !
AtomixMP3 is the sharpest MP3 DJ mix software ever, providing one-click BPM beat matching, beat-aware loop engine, live recording, optional dual soundcard output and master tempo functionality"

I think it should just be pulled or sold for £5.00

Thought I'd just add that in the UK that's called miselling

Atomix Mp3 is not just a Media Player, I can still mix pretty good on it on low end machine and no one will tell the difference, believe me ;)
It was the program that made me go on Computer mixing :)

Please! Somebody helpe me. I can´t record the musics. I try record but nothing heppen. When I used the trial version was ok, but after I bougth the AtomixMP3, I can´use. Thanks
