So, I'm looking for a job, I've been in banking for about 8 years, my official title right now is AVP Client Manager. I deal with the afluent clients that have at least $250k with the bank. I have my own book of clients and cater to their every banking needs. I really dont want to that anymore. Our incentive structure has been remapped and we are not getting paid for the work we are doing. Easy way to put, if I produce 3 million dollars in loans I only get paid $300 bucks! Any how, I hear financial people for car dealers make some good money, but dealers usually want you starting off as a car salesman. Any ideas?

I wouldn't bother with a dealership finance department. It's basically a sales job, especially for sub prime car loans.

It depends on the car dealership. You have nothing to lose in my opinion, so give it a try. I don’t know where you’re from, but you may want to consider starting your own business since it seems you have a lot of knowledge in financing.

Contact one of the large leasing companies like Well Fargo. I bet they would kill to get someone with eight years experience in banking working for them.

Are there any fields that anyone could think of that would fit in with my background. I've had a lot of call from investments companies because I have my investment license, but starting in investments is really hard. Plus you need to put a good 3-5yrs before you have any type of payouts. Any off the wall ideas?

How is that for an off the wall idea : start producing your own music and become a known DJ. :)
Easier said than done, but you asked for an off the wall one. ;)

Since you can DJ and have extensive knowledge in financing, you should consider obtaining financing for your own club. Depending on your club hours, you can still keep a day job.
