I would like to be able to hit the F1 key and have my CLIPBANK open up. I can't seem to get it to work. This is what I do:
1) Under keyboard shortcuts, I select ADD
2) On left side, I select video
3) on right side I select VIDEO_SELECT_FX
4) I check of VALUE, and type in Clipbank
5) I type F1 up above in the Key area, then hit OK
6) I click NO so the previous shortcut will be replaced with this new one
7) I go back to browser, and hit F1, and nothing happens.
What am I doing wrong?

Eric, didn't you ask about the PgUp/PgDn keys ? Did you disable the shortcuts using the check or did you change the button assignments ?
If you disabled them then that is where your problem is.

I did not disable keyboard shortcuts. I only re-assigned those keys.

As a test, try using another key that isn't assigned already.
For example the letter "Q".
You will get the list:
Boom
Boom_Auto
Camera
Clipbank
Negative
SlideShow
etc

Well, I do get that list, but only if I set the value to "0". But all that does is set the video effect to whatever you select on that list. It does NOT exit the BROWSER mode and enter the EFFECTS/VIDEO EFFECTS display.
What I am trying to do is to set that shortcut value to "CLIPBANK", so when I hit the F1 key, I go direct to the CLIPBANK plug-in. The whole point is to eliminate menus and sub-menus to do a specific task.
Is this not possible?

I'm just thinking but I don't think you can quick key this because clipbank is a 2 step process. ( find correct clip bank / click on it and then hit activate.)

But under the setting for VALUE, the description says we can enter the name of an actual plug-in that we are creating the shortcut for. A value of "0" gives me the list; A value of "Clipbank" should give me the clipbank, I would think?

Has anybody done this before? Maybe via a macro or something?
