Could you please remind us what is your specification ?

It's an external crash. Do you use a mapper with a controller?

No Mapper or controller. I was using timecode CD's.

Spec is Intel 2.2GHz dual core, 4Gb RAM, Nvidia 8600M GT 2x256Mb Sli, 2x160Gb internal Sata drives, Vista 32bit, 400GB external usb drive, Maya44usb

No other programs were running. It happened when I went from a playing song (manaul) to automix mode.

Any thoughts?

I had a nonresponsive screen last night 3 times. I recently downloaded 5.07, clipbank and new sonique plug in ( which I never unzipped). I didn't re-download DMC2 mapper for my controller. Should I Have? Also for some reason when I hit play after a search either using DMC 2 Controller or mouse a pop up saying cannot connect to the internet popped up( happened near end of 4 Hr. night). Any suggestions?
Nvidia 7900 GS
3.2GHZ Pentium 4 Rackmount
4 gig ram
80 gig sata drive operating system
Terrabyte and a half storage

Thanks for that, i'm not quite sure what it has to do with the topic though?

If you didn't use plugins when it appeared, it could be a conflict between:

I've been using the Maya & the 400GB drive for a year now and its never happened before. Isn't it a bit strange it should happen since upgrading to r7?

Gary.

4 gb of ram in 32 bit OS?

Vista 32 bit can't handle 4gb of RAM. Maybe that was the problem.

agee 4gigs of ram is useless unless you're using x64 bit operating system.

Vista 32 can handle 3GB of RAM and the rest is just used by hardware. I don't think that's the problem.

Was it with a mp4 file or a file using the quicktime decoder?

To be honest I can't remember what I was playing now. It would have either been an MP3 or an avi as thats all i use.
