I recently purchased virtual dj and would like to know if there is any way to hook up my turntable so that I can record a mix using the turntable and mp3's. I am running an audio cable from my external mixers "record" output into my soundcards input. I was hoping that by going into virtual dj's soundcards option (under directories) and dragging my sound card onto one of the decks would allow me to record as well. The only thing it does is show the music on the active wave form, beginning on the left side of the bar on the active waveform.
Can you please tell me if I am able to use my turntable to mix along with the mp3's in virtual dj?

where do I find the serial number if I no longer have the disc and packaging, as I would love to register this so my question can be answered?

If you have bought the software you should have received your serial number by email ...with this number you should register...
