Yes, you can play regular vinyl if you want to bypass the software, but you must use TC vinyl to control the software. What version of the software, are you using? Do you have the latest drivers for the controller?

ok im not much of a wizz when it comes to all this technicall stuff.im using vdj pro v5 and i just bought bcd controller and stuck in the cds that came with it mate.is this info ant good to you.

Read the manual for the software......its in the virtual dj program file.....should have details on how to create a shortcut using the keys you want on the keyboard. Its actually something I use alot and its not complicated at all.
