I know certainly in the past there have been problems with people using the BCD3000 with VDJ, i think there were problems getting the Jogs to work properly. However someone may have made a mapper to resolve the problem?
Whilst you're waiting the repsonses here you could search the General Discussion forum and Hardware forum for BCD3000 and see what people have had to say about it.
If you want an all in one Midi Controller and soundcard, i suggest that it might be worth holding out for the Hercules RMX which is due to be released this month sometime. This controller will be natively supported by VDJ, so it'll work without you having to map all the controls to the software functions yiurself. (It looks very professional)
There are also more expensive options coming out this year such as the Numark Ns7 & VCI-300.
The other option would be to buy your Midi Controller and sound card seperately, such as the Numark Total Control and the NUmark DJ i/o. This way you can really mix and match the controller and sound card that suits you best.
Also worth mentioning is the Hercules MK2 (All in one) which works very well VDJ, although it pretty cramped due to it's small size.
