Digi,
Can you remember the Fisher Price train aswell. Where you put the disc in the back of it and went round in circles
I had one of them too, bugged the hell out of my mum and dad, till one day I got it out and it was broke. Still don't know who broke it...... But I can guess.

Didn't have that one, you were obviously spoiled as a child with your two Fisher Price toys compared to my one!
Yet it seems your parents came to their senses and taught you the harsh realities of life.
You will have learnt you lessons, you now know to read the crowd (who happened to be your parents at that time), you should of changed that Disc man, or at least manipulated it a little, a few effects, a back spin here and there. Although one imagines trying to DJ with your music source attached to a small moving train would make things a little more difficult, so given this and taking your age into consideration maybe your parents were a little harsh??

I had one of those fisher price record players when much younger as well.
Those 45 players did they have pitch control on them - or was the slider for volume?

Those look like mini turntables I've seen DJs bring to the store with them to audition vinyl. I think that is a pitch control. If I can find a picture of it, I will post. Pretty impressive.
UPDATE:
Found 'em. They are Vestax portable turntables.

Yeah they do Marcel, +-10%. Not alot, but they do.
Wouldn't it be a laugh to turn up to a gig with them, one under both arms. And say to the organizer, "Right, where do you want me" and see the look on his face, LOOOOOL.
