hey guys just wondering when i rename my history it dissapears and i cant find it how do i stop this or where does it go

It is because you are not adding the m3u extension to the rename.

The files are stored in your My Documents -> VirtualDJ\\Tracklisting folder. Go add the extension .m3u to the files and they will show in VirtualDJ again.

Go to the folder location I mentioned above and right-click, select Rename and then add .m3u to the name.
