Will VDJ support this new remote control? I was considering the Numark TC, but this may be a better option for me.

hehe, I'm ordering mine first thing monday, I can't wait!! I'm still waiting to hear from hercules sales dept. on whether or not the carrying bag (pictured on their site) will be included, but either way it's mine..lol. If a little surface cleaner can fix my mk2 & the RMX prooves to be stable then my mk2 will go up for sale;^]
edit: ooopps, didn't see the post above about the carry bag, sweeeett;^]

I got my hands on one for a day at musikmesse , it is better than the mk2 but in my opinion it was a bit disappointing , the build quality of the faders was a bit weak (it might have been a prototype still so hopefully this can be resolved for the final unit)
The sound card seems to be the same one in the mk2 which is a pity for time code usage which is what one of its main purposes was. There is a much improved driver system though which might make this better. On a positive note the metal finish is nice , and the jogs are much much better and the buttons are good quality it is quite light and compact too.
However , i think it will make a good upgrade to the mk2 as a good intermediate controller.

@sky: How is the volume of the RMX compared to the MK2? When I bought my mk2 the volume maxed out was so low I had no choice but to use an external mixer to compensate for it. I ask because I'm hoping to use the RMX without an additional mixer for the most part;^]

It did seem louder yes one of the big issues with the mk2 is the drivers , they have a totally new improved driver for the RMX.
