I finally got around to updating and trying to configure my computer to 5.06 with MK2. I hooked it up to the internet to due the standard updates of drivers and software packs. I did Cue update and started the testing. Everything worked great so far. I had to run out and do some things so I put the automix on which in most cases proves nothing. I put on about 4 hours of videos of assorted codecs plus auto transition. I cam back and the system crashed not from the CUE but from Windows Vista. That has never happened before. So I did the same this before bed and when I got up this morning the same thing happened.
Somewhere in the updates of Vista, my system times out and crashes. Because it's windows I have no idea how to resolve this. Maybe I should go back to restore. I have the system running now as we speak to see if it does it again. The pop up says something about window has developed and error and shut down the current program. I click the radio button and it goes straight to desktop. Nothing in cue crash log since it wasn't a software problem. I look under the computer logs but it just says that a report was sent.
Outside of that, the sound is good and the response from the MK2 is good. I cannot make the software crash but somehow windows crashes. Nothing about the video card.
