flash video files (FLV) dont work, sorry.
FLV video is ment for video streaming over internet, such as Youtube

There are converters from FLV to normal video (mpeg/avi) if you google for such tool

I've played FLV files in VDJ...?

Do you really want to use a 320x240 MONO video for DJing? I think it would look pretty bad on most clubs' 42" HD plasma screens.

I know some DJ's disagree about the merits of vob vs. divx, &c., but I can't believe .flv would even be in the running.

If these were FLV files downloaded from youtube, they work with my Virtual DJ. I used a few for St. Patty's day.

Yes the quality sucks, but try finding HD quality videos for some of these obscure irish songs out there. ;)

FLV can be encoded at different settings to that which you posted, and can in fact be superb quality :)

this is true, you can get very good FLV and convert them
