Sujet: Methods for recording video mixes

Could someone please explain to me the various methods of recording a video mix (when performed in VDJ).

I'm hopeing that there is an application that can record from the source live (ideally with audio), rather than using a second PC or dvd recorder.

Any help appreciated.
