When i hooked up the djio to my laptop it does not work it says error in soundcard i installed the drivers i went to sound setup and the djio shows up but when i choose that option and i try to play a song nothing happens no response when using vista . Now when i set it up on my other laptop which is windows xp home edition it works fine. Is there some sort of setting i need to change under vista for it to work?

yes djio came with the latest vista drivers.

Admittedly I am not a Vista user but, could it be a security issue? That is one of Vista's selling points...I would check to see if you need to be logged in as Admin to install the drivers, and make sure the security for the DJ i/o drivers are not firewalled....
