Hi guys,
Im new here and new to mixing so im going to try the demo of VDJ.
I just got a hold of 1200 accapella tracks with everything on it. Sifting my way through them now. There over 1200 and want to see if i can mix them over some instrumentals or try scratching in some vocal samples - oh-yeh y- ye -yeh.
If anyone can give me any tips for working with accapella tracks then that would be great.

i dont use a cappellas much but when i do, i personally mix the beat over the a cappella and not the other way round for the first time. i find that listening for the bpm in the a cappella is less confusing to put the beat overtop since its the actual beat that you need to push/pull to get into shape. mixing this way is a good test of beatmatching skills. but its something you need to practice because if you play it live, you need to know the general setting to do quickly. once you;ve got that down it doesnt matter which comes first
