when i record my vinyl with vdjs vinyl ripper for some reason it makes the right channel louder . i used to use another program but ive lost the disk now . what program is best for ripping vinyl as i need to re-record some songs

Strange , try audacity its free and relatively simple.

I started using "LP Recorder" for ripping my vinyls, but I generates a WAV file that is very large and then you have to convert it to MP3....double work. Now Im using Audacity, works very well, converts direct to MP3, Its Free,.....and remember to erase the archives it generates for every ripped song.

Also use a Multiband Dynamics or a Compressor plugin because the level of vinyl-ripps are lower than cd-ripps !
