Sujet: Craiglist.com / DHL Scam BEWARE

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Attention all... If you purchase anything from Craigslist or other website and the user points out a third party shipment option from DHL it's fraud. They will send a link to this web site. http://express-dhl.co.uk/eshipping/webship.high.html <-- THIS WEBSITE IS FRAUD. This site does not belong to DHL. Luckely, they didn't get any of my money because I called DHL before proceding.

Keep your eyes open!

Remember with craigslist, deal with local people ONLY. Pay them DIRECT, Face to Face.

Thanks for the info speed n norway;)

There are many scammers in craigslist. I see people that say in the ad that they are local. When you send them a email, they are located in the U.K. Im not sending no money order... I only pay cash upfront. I buy many things from this site. I bought the Denon Hc4500 new for 400 bucks a few months ago..

Well, everone knows ThePlanet.com Internet Services, Inc. are dodgy, well, or the people using them.....

I'm so paranoid, I check every site's I.P's..... No bull........

The only one I really trust is Ebay. Well trust to a certain extent. Never had a problem with them and I have bought over $1,000 worth of merchandise.

Craigslist is a very good site. I like it better than ebay. There are many people that dont have comon sense to know that craigslist is a site where you meet up to pay in cash. In ebay, the seller describes to you the condition but in craigslist, you see upfront what you are interested in buying. you can negotiate too. You cant do that in ebay.. Cash upfront talks more than anything else
