Sujet: Anyone tried the new LED lights

Hi

Had a night off on Saturday and so I went out and did a tour and had a look at a few DJs. One of them was using a pair of the the Acme MarvLED lights, which I thought looked pretty good. American DJ are also bringing some new ones out.

At first glance they looked good, and very low power consumption, no bulbs to replace, cool and quiet too. I thought I might buy a couple.

Has anybody here tried any and what do they think?

I bought nothing but LED lights for my mobile unit. I like them a lot.
 
LED's are great. You can run them all night without having to
shut them off for a cool down period.
Don't need a lot of them either as they are brighter.
 
I got a cool little CHAOVET J Five light and it's pretty cool too.
 
I currently use a double derby, but my next light will be a American dj Revo 3 led

I have 4 Chauvet Vue 1 - Great little projector light.

Next one will be a scanner of some sort. Maybe that quad box from ADJ that allows for text to be written on the walls/Floors where ever.
 
got the chauvet vue and some american Dj moon flower type (don't know the exact name but they are the same as the standard jewels with led's) love them to death...no more noisy fans
 
imo, revo is better than the vue - worth the extra 30 bucks

better patterns, better beat recognition
