Sujet: Made a new contact, and got a good gig. - Page: 1

At my friday night gig, I was chatting to a guy who I know though a mate. I didn't know this, but he worked as a lighting Engineer for a small but good club in my home town. He ask me for my phone number and he said he would try and get me a set or gig in his club, where he works, and get back to me.

Now, I thought yeah ok then, I gave him my number, but I was thinking nothing would come of it. We've all been there.

Anyway I've just had a phone call from him and guess, he has sorted me out a spot in the upstair's room of the club, 10 - 3, next Saturday night. playing House and oldschool. Just right up my street.

I couldn't thank him enough, I'm well pleased now.

Tayla only asks for Barbie Girl when he is playing with his Barbies..so perhaps Jimmy is safe......

jimmy take no notice of rick he hasn't got a clue about european music culture he's just playing mind games with you mate, you as a world renowned dj known all over your village and no where else know it was a former no1 for weeks across here so what better endosement of a tune do you need, i still play it at least fifteen times a night if i'm very lucky to have anyone in the bar... those two pee smelling incontinent pants wearing raving seventy year old pensioners that come in at nine o clock "love it"...

i have come to the conclusion that this is a cruel cruel world that i live in and the harsh reality that know one allows me to play with my barbies in public anymore is so unfair and unjust.... the ridicule, the embarassment, is unwarranted, is also against the law

It's OK to play with the Barbies in public. You just can't touch Barbie's naked, anatomically correct, private parts, in public. It went to number one over there? All the Djs over here contributed to a fund to kill Aqua, the producer, and all their offspring on sight. It's now up to $100,000.00. Let me know where they are, and I will give you a finders fee. We have to stop them before they go back into the studio.
 
this is just between you and me rick and no one else then, heard jimmy was on the phone to them earlier wanting to get them to do a guest spot of all there hit tunes at the new gig... happy hunting

 
ok who's mucking about, it helps other people readily identify where i'm from until the higher ups can get time to implement the system that was discussed in the forums at an earlier date... still funny as hell though
