Does anyone know a plug in or how to have a song echo out when you stop it in VDJ. I have been using various plug ins and cant seem to get ths effect. I know you can do it in Torq easily so I dont think its something that is hard to do. Is VDJ missing something with their VST application that im missing something?
Please help.... all I need is this worked out and (possibly the sampler too) to convince me to upgrade to the professional version.
Thanks

Bump.... you gotta be F'ing kidding me... its been almost 2 weeks now and I cant even get a no it cant do that or even some type of acknowledgement. I guess I get what I pay for with my service too. Good thing I have Torq as a back up.
VDJ please get ur stuff together. Because between upgrading to the pro version and spending $300 or selling my MK2 unit for $150 and paying the difference for serato is making the choice easy for me. geesh

Impossible, it's a problem with the design of sound engine: when the deck is stopped
all the effects stop working, as they are not real-time independant but are actually
processed over the original audio and than playback time is controlled with the decks.
Sadly, the only work around is using the effects made for VDj, like Echo out which
simulates the delay fading away while the deck is still playing.
Note: This is for all versions up to 4.xx, if there are changes made in 5.xx I'm not
aware of them (but I doubt).

Guess the topic was overlooked. I read the boards fairly often and have obviously missed it:)

Thanks Erxon - I appreciate the honest answer. I wish someone would have said something earlier though because in that 2 week period I could have switched to another alternative but since you gave me the insight that it cant be done I can include VDJ back into those alternatives instead of going with Torq.
Thanks again

Ok so I read that there are plugins being made to overcome this issue. I noticed that my
info was quite outdated, as in this thread by djcel you can read that a function is already
available to create asyncrhronus (real time) plugin.
I'm not sure how this applies to VST plugins though, I hope there will be an answer
from someone with experience in this part.
