Sujet: Virtual Dj 5.1 ! when ?

Hello

I just ask me when will be this new 5.1 version out ? Many people have this very knowing bug with Hercules MKII/VDJ 5.07.

Since many month now, no patch nothing ! So I ask again if we can expected to have it in some days / weeks / month ? never ;-)

or just a 5.0.7.1 realesed ?!!!! for many bug of 5.0.7

Seriously though, they'll release it when it's ready, no sooner. What bugs? Did you upgrade the drivers yet & have you selected 4.1 as the soundcard?;^]

My tea leaves say there will not be 5.1. Version 6 will be next ;-)

All MKII issues with 5.0.7 have been extensively discussed, posted, and solved in the Hardware Forums.

Yes, maybe. But I don't want to wait until next august - DJ Expo. (VDJ 4.0 and VDJ 5.0 release - do you remember? :-)

Sorry Grug but we are on v7 now..so to release v6 would be backing the truck up a tad...lol
 
Hey yall,

With all seriousness, it's nice that you aren't giving us dates because those expectations of coming soon is so much harder to deal with. (Such as PCDJ reflex being more than a year late) Virtual will fix these bugs. Support for the denon 4500 mac will be icing on the cakes. Serato is almost there but it has not been officially released with their beta versions. I hope virtual releases their next version before reflex and serato. In my opinion there are some bragging rights here. Getting it before memorial day or the summer would be perfect.

If you are going to post that there is a problem - then at least have the decency to state what it is. This thread asks about the next update and people say there is a problem with the current version -- if you want it fixed it might help if you say what the problem is ????

That's cute with the bug. Awesome. I didn't know what a bug was.

Are most of the issues with the denon 4500 have been addressed and resolved? Just curious. I am really looking forward to the next version of virtual. I'm sure a lot of users and mac users are looking to get things fixed and up and running. If you need me to post issues with denon 4500 with mac please let me know. I will be happy to test and post.

im not saying that this is a bug but it is the reason why im still useing 5.06
i made a post back in march but had no responce

im not to good at trying to wright what im trying to say so i will try and explain it again a bit better
on versions up to rev 5.06
on the herc mk2 if you pressed the master tempo button say for deck 2 the sync button on the skin would stay lite up
and you could then change the pitch/tempo of both the playing tracks staying locked together ex( going from 126bpm to 130bpm )
usieing ether the pitch knob or the fader sliders depending on which you selected in the config

now this is what happens with rev 5.07
on the herc mk2 if i press the master tempo button it now turns the key lock on and off instead
no matter what settings ive tryed in the configs i can not get the pitch/tempo of both playing tracks to stay locked together ex( going from 126bpm to 130bpm ) they just drift a part whilst playing

i dont use a ext mapper or tcv/tccd

i just use vdj as it is and the herc mk2 with the 2008 drivers
win xp sp2

hope you undrestand what i mean with the above but 5.07 does not work like 5.06 and previous versions (for me anyway LoL !!)
any help would be gratefull if others dont have the above problem
