Hey guys (& Ladies),
I have been trying to dj with Virtual DJ with one Denon DNS3500, and I hate it. So I was considering picking up another Cd player to pair with my existing one. My question is
what would have a better response time USB CD Players (Pioneer 400) or TCCD on another Denon DNS 3500. I have been searching this forum for a while, and it seems USB
CD players are nice, but small, and not very well supported. Plus I am not sure how to plug a USB CD player into the Numark external sound card I have. I am guessing just into the USB
slot in my laptop, but am not sure.
Getting back to my original question. with my setup, should I get another DNS 3500 or buy a USB CD player for better response time?
Hope this isn't too broad.
thanks!!!

I own both a CDJ-400 and the iCDX. for sound the CDJ is also a soundcard so one set of RCAs are all you need. The iCDX is natively supported so its plug and play. The CDJ is not.but has a couple of mappers. Another option is to go with time code CDs and look at the CDJ-800 and since you have VV your set up and config for this will be very easy. Or, you can look at the Denon 5500 player/controller, which is not natively supported at this time either.
Now that I have you thoroughly confused, as you can see there are several option available to you. I only mentioned the ones that have gotten the best reviews from, or the most promise from, the users. So, do your homework and I bet you make a good choice......

When you say responce time, are you reffering to the scratching ?

The Pioneer cdj 800s & the 1000's are the best of single cd players for time codes and respond quick and better than denon. Denons only look a little nicer, thats it....
