whats recommended to cross fade video using timecoded vinyl? what sound card? what mixer?

The recommended configuration to mix video is:
* Dual Core 2 GhZ CPU
* dual output ATI or nVidia video card with 1Gb of on-board memory (no integrated laptop videocard)
* 2048 MB RAM
For TCV depends how much you wanna spend and what type of equipment you will need. You can take sound cards like Maya 44, ESI U46DJ or Hercules Console, they all have 2 stereo inputs that are needed for TCV use. For audio you can use any hardware mixer but for video you need MIDI capable mixer to control VDJ.
You will need 2 TCV records which you can get on this site. And of course, VDJ Pro license.
