Sujet: Virtual DJ Pro tempo vs. pitch

Been trying to get into software dj mixing lately... So I am carefully choosing a product to which I would hook... So far I think the Virtual DJ Pro and djDecks are the best but it seems that VDJ Pro is missing some function that I think is of great importance. It's tempo (changing the speed with no changes to the pitch), that's the thing why I think soft mixing is better than classic vinyl, and if VDJ Pro is missing that feature (correct me if I'm wrong) I doubt I will go for it... If it's not implemented, is it planned?

Just one suggestion... Seems the mixing engine is pretty good but I think the user interface could be slightly more professional oriented... It's ok to have two vinyls spinning (but I would prefer pure digital indicators), but showing the covers is too much... yes I know it can be turned of and I will turn it off, I'm just trying to say in which direction the software should develop, not eye-candy but usability.

VDJ does have:

a master tempo button
In the Pro Edition you can download different skins or make one for yourself or share.
Very limited on the home version download center.
The cover flow is a togle button to turn it on / off.

VDJ does have this feature, it's called keylock. Most skins have buttons to toggle it on & off;^]
 
thank ppl, seems like this is definitely the best software out there... btw, is there topic reply notification function on this forum?
 
There is that as well, the little yellow tab beneath "post a new message" at the bottom of the thread;^]

Right below thread where it says "post new topic" you will see a symble that looks like a radar of some sort - click on that.
