Sujet: Encrypt Music and Karaoke files

Using the Encrypt feature built into Windows Vista to Encrypt Music and Karaoke files on my external hard drive so that the files can be accessed to be played on VDJ but cannot be extracted from the drive.

Explain a little better, you can't open files?

If I have another DJ fill in for me with my equipment, what security measure can I take to prevent her or him from being able to lift, copy or steal my files from my external or onboard hard drive.

It really don’t make a difference it someone life the file off the drive as long as they become unusable on any other system.

Other company’s have got back to me that you can secure the drive but to have access to the files on the drive, you need the password and that also make give them access to copy the files.
I’m still waiting for RESPONSE FROM Folder Lock .
What about the encrypting with windows? Will it work for me?
 
It could do, but I saw a few times that Windows messed something up and I could not recover files anymore (we have the password).
Folder Lock forbids access or copy even in Safe Mode or DOS.
