I have a nice high end computer with dual core 2 processor, fresh intall of XP (only 19 processes) 2gb ram, Nvidia video card. I have ecler evo 5 and 2 denon 3500s. Here are some issues that I have. I am looking for help on settings

Here is the list of stuff going on with the VDJ

Friday:

Major:

Buffer underrun noise during transition in both TC and Automix.
Performance was improved after setting Performance-> Preset slider to the fastest setting.

Sync ghost returned.

CD-Audio mode non-functional.

Minor:

TC latency.

Crossfader: Video sometimes get stuck on the opposite side of where the crossfader is slid to. I can fix it by nudging the crossfader and it goes back to normal.

VDJ pitch slider moves around.

Cue point moves around.

Saturday:

Major

Buffer underrun noise returns. The new settings are still the same. This time, VDJ starts clean with no noise but the longer you use it, the noise gradually builds. At first you'll notice it on transitions, then as more songs progress, you'll hear it through the whole song. Problem persists in the same manner after restarting program.

You mentioned CDJ's so are you using timecoded cd's?

Are you passing audio over usb?

I would try adjusting some of your settings in the config menu. Sounds like you've got your Presets slider all the way over to the left. Try moving it over one notch to the right and set your latency for 11ms. That seems to work pretty well for me although my sound card is physically attached to the motherboard on my computer so I don't have to deal with latency and passing audio over usb.

What type of sound card is this? Also, you might want to try using a different usb port next time and using that same port every time you hook up your gear. As far as your audio problems, it could have something to do with your ports because I had a similar problem to what you described.

sound goes over firrwire, the sound card is built into the evo. funnyb0nz aka (DJ Dan-E) is going to come up and try setting the settings so we will see what happens.
