Sujet: 4 years with Virtualdj ….

Tomorrow It´s exactly 4 years since i bought VDJ - Member since: Tue 8 Jun 04
I never could have guessed then that I could do stuff like this today with the software…
• Play karaoke - I had a separate system for that earlier
• Mix Karaoke – before it took at least 20 seconds to change to a new song ,now it´s instant
• Announce next karaoke singer name on a projector, no interrupt on the dance floor
• take pictures of the people at the party or the wedding and present it on a slide show or just print happy birthday MR X on the screen .
• show the cover of the song that everyone forget how it looked
• Music Videos…, scratch videos,mix musicvideos. add effect on videos …
• Connect my old sl 1200 and have the feeling that I’m playing vinyl again but no heavy record cases to carry

I wonder how this list will look in 4 more years
I have never regrets my choice buying the software and I feel that the new version is very stable
So hats off for the dev team - keep up the good work ,you got a fantastic product
And the whole forum that helping everyone from beginners to more Experienced user with there problems

Thanks for the positive feedbacks ;) and I feel same ways... and to add, all been free as upgrades ever since I bought it ... A sweet deal ;)
 
@Putta, You deserve to be a real VIP member mate, 4 years that some going.

Wonder if I'll still be here after 4 years, I hope so, but we're have to wait and see.

It's interesting to ponder what our respective lists will look like four years from now...I agree, though. I never regretted for a moment that I decided to buy VDJ, and the free upgrades have been an awesome commitment to customer service when you consider how many of us there are now :^D
 
I have been using the software for around 4 years also. and for fun i installed an old version and man was is crazy to use - brought back so many memories and made me realise how far the software has come. i couldnt believe i used the old versions in the club back then! Keep up the awesome work Dev Team. I havnt had any major issues so touch wood it will carry on!!
 
I think some of the folks whininng about the newer versions would be well-served by installing and running some of the older versions to realize this as well - might change their tune. I've been using VDJ for about two years, and it's truly amazing to have seen how much it has evolved in such a short time ;)
