Just want to let you know about Move2Digital. It's a Professional CD ripping service that rips CD's to any digital format (MP3, FLAC, WAV, AAC etc.). We rip CD's for DJ's, personal MP3 player consumers, sound libraries etc.
I'm guessing that most of you guys and girls are figering that you can do this yourself and are wondering why you'll send your precious CD's to someone else to do and pay for the privilege. We have seen an increase of DJ's requesting our service possibly for the following reasons:
1)Time. We save you the time of carrying out this time intensive process that you are possibly doing a CD at a time. Using Move2Digital means that you can make a 5 minute call, we'll arrange to have your collection collected and we'll return a few days later with your new entire digital library on an external hard drive or DVD's dependent on how large your collection is and your choice of format.
2) Metatada. As many of you have probably found out, metadata sources are not always correct and sometimes a metadata source may not even have a CD in it's database. And have you ripped a compilation CD that has filled the artist tag as "Various Artist" instead of the actual artist name? Move2Digital manually fixes all these inconsistancies. Vital when you are trying to find tracks fast in a club environment.
3) Backup. We give you a choice of formats to rip to. We can also rip to multiple formats. We can rip to Lossless (WAV, FLAC etc) which can act as a backup to your entire music collection and to a high quality MP3 for DJing and for your personal MP3 player or iPod.
