Sujet: Whats the difference

What is the main difference between: Techno, Trance, Rave, House, Electro, Dance, Electronica ??????? Are they the same? some of my friend say they are different.??????

Just like any main genre of music to those that are into and "know" the music there are very major differences, to those that are not in t the music it all sounds the same.
 
Aww man, theres so much music out there.........
