are you talking about while playing video? just go to video effects and just de-activate it. but if the title of the video is already on the video then you'd need something else to hide a logo

I like it mate, Know where you're coming from, lol

You could always code them maybe? Have your tracks as 'beatclub's gem 1', beatclub's gem 2 etc. I suppose it depands on how many tracks you have. Then have a seperate file with all the codes and there real names on. Just a thought :o)

On some skins, if you click on the name of the track, it will display something different.

Sorry, ignore this. Thinking about another software. :(

You could easily program the skin to do that though. Much like the elapsed/remain display works on the default skins.

Oh yeah. I'm with ya on this one. There are several light people I know who also DJ who will walk over and look at the track playing so they can go find it to add in their sets!

I don't really mind because my style is not what they would copy but they like a few of the tracks I play. Sometimes it does get annoying but most of the time not.

I don't think theres an actual function that hides song names but what you could do is disable the read ID3 Tags , ID3 Artist/Title , ID3 Comments via Config - Browser.

Just go in and edit the skin. Its really not that hard. I have put our company name and the name of the DJ that runs that particular computer on the skin. It looks cool when people watch you play. Some people think you had the software built for you.

One of you guys should definitly post some instructions on how to do that. It would be really helpful.

yea i was playing a set last night and the serato guy had the song names dissipate literally when he loaded them... i would like that as well :(

The best way to hide track names is to group all the songs in a folder, rename the tracks in virtual by right clicking and chosing file info, since VDJ doesn't change the file name in the root folder no one can see the real name of the song! The only prolem is remembering what you name the songs!

On your computer under Documents/Virtual DJ/Skins there are zip folders. You unzip the skin. You can open the Bmp and modify it. As far as how the interface works you have to modify the XML file. You then must rezip it and your done. The instructions for doing this is here. http://www.virtualdj.com/support/developers/skin.html
