Do any of you use anti-virus/spyware software for your macs? The news on the link below kinda had me worried.

Yeah, after reading the comments and all things related, decided not to really concern myself with it as I don't share my MAC. If anyone else was using it, then that would be a different story.

Thanks for sharing you may also be interested in Mac Keeper which is a A/V and a collection of tools to clean and keep your mac in good shape.
The thing about Viruses and macs is that they dont really affect macs but Macs can be carriers of PC viruses so virus scanners just find and get rid of PC viruses.
There is also iAntivirus who offer a completely free A/V product for mac.

Well if you are foolish enough to give a virus root access (because the mac will tell you if you are) then there isn't anything the mac could save you from.
