I noticed that VDJ has different or mismatch Bit Rate readout with some other softwares.
I tried to compare it from windows file properties but it seems they don't have a common result unless I rip it with WMP.
Same as true also with MP3's that I downloaded both LEGALLY and ILLEGALLY, VDJ really gave different Bit Rate Result, most commonly lower to what's in the property.
Why? or which is telling the truth?

If you have an MP3 that is encoded with a variable bit rate (VBR), you might get mismatched readings simply because the bitrate changes throughout the file.

I wouldn't re-encode unless you have to original source. VBR should be fine.

CBR. The file will be bigger but your sound quality will be consistent.
