Sujet: computer shuts down

can anybody tell me why dose V.D.J. shuts my computer down ??? i need a answer, please... i have quite a good laptop, with 2Gb of ram...
i just can not understant what to do ! i`ve tryed allready to reinstall the program, but still the same !! Help , please !!!!
