Hi guys,

I've finally decided to go pro for VDJ, but I have 2 options right now that would be feasible and I can't figure out which path to choose.

Option 1: buy VDJ pro for $300.

Option 2: sell TotalControl (which I currently have, get anywhere from 150 on up), buy RMX ($350) and VDJ ($150 with promotion).

When you upgrade to VDJ pro from the RMX, is it the full retail version (are there any differences whatsoever)?

Also, would anyone recommend the RMX over the TotalControl? It's a difference of like 50 bucks whether to get VDJ pro or get VDJ pro and RMX (-TotalControl).

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Chris

I have never used the Total control so i can not compare the two, but i purchased the RMX about a month ago and I love it. I did a backyard party about 2 weeks ago and it was a huge success, people were amazed at how small my setup was.
The promo upgrade to VDJ is the full version you will have all available options.

hope that helps.

get the rmx then do the upgrade save 150 dollars and treat yourself to something else in the process...

Is the $150 promotion liable to become inactive within a week or two? Any news on if it'll end soon?

wait for a mod or teamer to answer that or put a ticket in.... if it is about to close and they know of your intentions they may give you extra time to get sorted

Keep them both. You never know when you may need a backup. Both of them work very well though. I just bought the Denon HC-4500 and Denon X-500 Mixer. I had total control previously before that, but i'm keeping it to use as a backup or in my room when I don't want to use the other set up
